Thank you for visiting the home of the Rutgers Retired Faculty and Staff Association (RFSA), the official university-sponsored retiree organization of Rutgers University. The RFSA’s purpose is to create a structure, programs and activities that facilitate an ongoing relationship between the university and its retirees, and encourage continued engagement of Rutgers faculty and staff who have officially retired from the university.

Rutgers University’s reputation for excellence in higher education is a direct result of the dedication and hard work of our employees, many of whom have worked for the university for decades, helping to shape the minds and perspectives of generations of leaders, poets, scientists, artists and doctors. The RFSA is a way for the university to express its appreciation for these years of dedicated service and to create new collaborations with retirees that will benefit us all.

Through this website, you will find information regarding the benefits and privileges to which retirees at Rutgers University are entitled, whether through their participation in the New Jersey State-administered health and retirement programs or as non-State benefits extended exclusively to Rutgers retirees.

We hope that you will consider continuing your affiliation with Rutgers University into your retirement. Rutgers owes you a debt of gratitude for your many years of service, and the university can continue to benefit from your ongoing contributions post-retirement. Thank you, and GO RU!
